This pose is known as Wide Leg Forward Bend – UPAVISTA KONASANA in Sanskrit. But whatever you call it, it still does the same job, melting inner thigh tension and igniting the meridian pathways running through them. One of the big ones is the liver meridian.
As we melt tension away here we free up any energy blocks or stagnantion and restore harmony and vibrancy to the inner-life.
