Yoga Warrior 1 flow was requested by Elizabeth Ruckh who has been part of our community for a long time! Thank you Elizabeth for joining us. This vinyasa flow class is a type of hatha yoga. We will warm up and stretch the hip flexors so that we can practice warrior 1 or virabhadrasana 1. Warrior 1 is a challenging pose because it’s difficult to keep the hips moving toward being squared toward the front of the mat as we keep the front ribs drawing in and the lower back lengthening toward the floor. This challenging flow class will also stretch and strengthen your shoulders and chest.
