Meridians are something I’m familiar with from my time studying QiGong, but meridian tapping is entirely new to me. It sounds odd, and a bit painful. But it’s really not, and it’s actually quite enjoyable. Meridian tapping is a simple way of reducing your stress, and is as pain-free as these things come.
Tapping the energy meridians while voicing positive affirmation works to clear energy blockages from your body’s meridian’s. This allows you to restore balance with your mind and body.

Tell us a bit about “The Tapping Solution” in your own words?
Tapping, or EFT Tapping, is a powerful stress relief technique that combines Eastern acupressure with Western psychology, like acupuncture without the needles. The Tapping Solution began with a documentary about a four-day tapping retreat we did in 2007. The results are incredible, but just a sampling of what tapping can do to help people heal from emotional wounds, chronic pain, insomnia, and more.
Thanks to the success of that movie, we now host an annual online summit that has helped millions of people around the world. We’ve also written books, including mine, The Tapping Solution for Weight Loss and Body Confidence.
What are the meridians, and what is *is* meridian tapping?
Meridians are energy channels in the body that originate from Chinese medicine. Meridian tapping, also called Tapping or EFT Tapping, involves stimulating these points by gently tapping on them with your fingertips.

Is meridian tapping something you can do yourself, or is it the kind of thing you need to see a professional for?
I’ve taught people how to tap in less than 4 minutes! It’s incredibly simple and easy, and you can use it on your own, which is why it’s spreading so quickly.
We’re excited for your book! Can you give us a teaser?
The book is based on a weight loss and body confidence program that I’ve led over 3,000 women through. It’s had amazing results, and I wanted to share the program with as many women as possible, and a book seemed the perfect way to do that. It’s really a new way to lose weight – by looking at the emotions behind the weight, and the stress that we feel when we don’t feel good in our own skin. When we can transform those things, our relationship with ourselves, and with food, exercise – and really our entire lives – change. That’s when we experience long-term weight loss that feels natural.
