4. Mama Kuka YogaSphere Yoga Straps
The YogaSphere pro kit is a set of straps in various sizes. The straps make it easier for you to reach poses, and it makes it easier for you to bind in poses, holding a pose longer than you might be able to without the strap.
Since the straps are in various sizes, you can start out using a longer strap, and as you get more proficient in the pose, work your way down to a smaller strap.
These straps worked really well in binding too. When I go into bound revolved side angle my hands tend to slip, and I can’t hold the pose long enough. These straps make a big difference. The straps are textured and are very easy to hang on it.

38. Om Magazine Subscription
This popular British yoga magazine is founded on the notion that there’s more to doing yoga than going to class, buying a fancy mat, and using the jargon. Something else I believe is yoga is for everybody, regardless of age, weight, socio-economic class, race, culture, or orientation. Om Magazine really converted me as a fan with their Body Issue which discussed some of the stigmas surrounding yoga and weight. Any yogi, new or seasoned, will benefit from the articles in Om.

51. Fabulous Aqua Blue Sigg Bottle
This beautiful aqua blue water bottle is made out of aluminum and coated with a BPA free liner. I usually use a glass bottle, but once I discovered the Sigg, the Sigg quickly became my go-to bottle for yoga class. It’s super light, and the screw cap seals tightly. I can easily throw my water into my yoga bag. The 0.6l bottle is a convenient size.
The narrow mouth can make it difficult to clean; I recommend only using water in your Sigg so you don’t have to scrub it out after each use. Once a week or so I rinse it out with a little white vinegar to get rid of any calcium build up on the inside, since I have hard water.
