There are a lot of laws around what you can and can’t do when you’re a kid, but thankfully there is no law saying you can’t be a professional yoga teacher before you hit puberty.

Jaysea Devoe is a 12-year-old yoga teacher in Encinitas, California. And when I say yoga teacher I mean legit yoga teacher. She just became a certified yoga teacher after completing her 200 hours of yoga teacher training.

Jaysea is quite possibly the youngest certified yoga teacher in America. (Anybody got the stats on that?)

While she currently teaches mostly kids between the ages of 4 and 6 at Yoga Bergamot in Encinitas, she also teaches teens, and is soon going to launch a family yoga class. She also is planning on making eco-friendly yoga mats.

“They only go to school three days a week and we told them ‘You have to figure out what you want to do and you’ve got four days to do it,'” says Rick, who manages bands and surfers. “‘And hopefully by the time you graduate high school, you have a career path chosen.'” – See more at: http://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/meet-jaysea-devoe-the-12-year-old-yogi-in-california/article1-1204563.aspx#sthash.21Bh2Jj6.dpuf

Her father Rick Devoe says she only goes to school three days a week at an institution that accommodates flexible schedules. Her father hopes she will have a career path chosen by the time she graduates high school.

It sounds like Jaysea has already picked her path. “I feel like I want to do this for a long time because I love teaching so much,” says Jaysea.

Who else here feels really unaccomplished?
