YogaVibes, the premium source for streaming online yoga videos, is excited to introduce new yoga classes online with Yoga Vida’s popular instructor, Kat Fowler. Yoga Vida is a studio in New York City that was founded in 2009 by Mike Patton, a Princeton University economics graduate, college ice hockey player, Wall Street broker turned yogi, and Hilaria Baldwin, an NYU alumna, former professional dancer, Extra TV correspondent, mother, yoga teacher and wellness expert.
Kat Fowler is a NYC based yoga teacher with 1000+ hours of training. Kat’s teaching methodology is grounded in the true knowledge of the yoga practice that comes from a lifetime of personal experience. Previously the lead yoga director of two yoga studios, Kat now leads teacher training and workshops in her hometown, NYC, and around the U.S.
Known for her light-hearted and inspirational style of teaching, Kat encourages personal expression, inner connection and courage through movement. Rooted in over 15 years of rigorous physical training in dance, ballet, and multiple modalities of yoga, her classes are creative, athletic and challenging while remaining accessible to students of all levels.
“I am so excited to bring my classes online to YogaVibes for two reasons: to help serve my local NYC yoga community and to bring my classes to the global community of yoga practitioners around the world,” says Fowler. “NYC is such a fast-paced, busy city, so I am thrilled to be offering my yoga classes online for my overworked New York yoga students who sometimes just can’t fit in a trip up or downtown to take my class, but would love to still practice from the comfort of their apartments.”
Kat has trained and mentored numerous teachers at Pure Yoga and Yoga Vida, and co-teaches Yoga Vida’s 300-hour advanced teacher training and assists her mentor, Tiffany Cruikshank, with training programs all over the globe.
