Hi everyone, thanks for tuning in and joining me today! I’m going to take you through a simple but effective 10 minute hatha yoga class suitable for beginners. If you’re new to yoga or just looking for a sequence that will be gentle on your body, you’ve come to the right place.
This is a full body practice with no props required that will help you stretch and strengthen from head to toe. Remember to breathe deeply and go at your own pace. We will go through foundational yoga poses such as low

How do I learn Bakasana?
Lean slightly forward while keeping your head in a raised position. Applying pressure to the floor with your palms, you’ll then begin to raise your hips as you slowly tilt forward bringing your weight onto your hands. You’ll want to position your knees onto your triceps as high as you can towards your armpits.
Step 1
Fold a yoga blanket in half length-wise (so it looks like a yoga mat), then fold it in half, then in half once again. Come into Plank Pose on a hardwood floor with your feet together on the blanket.
Step 2
Firm your upper outer arms in as you bend your knees and drag them tight into your chest.
Step 3
Separate your knees and draw them to the backs of your arms as close to your armpits as you can. Activate your adductors and round your upper back. Hold for a breath. Slide back to plank and repeat this 5-10 times.
Step 4
Crow Pose (Bakasana)
After you bring your knees to the back of your arms, lean forward, bend your elbows and draw your feet up into crow pose. Keep your gaze forward, adductors activated, and upper back powerfully rounded as you press the ground away.
