Sister Jenna Releases Her Ground Breaking Meditation CD

Sister Jenna

Award-winning spiritual leader, author, and radio show host, Sister Jenna, debuted her latest CD, “Off the Grid, Into the Heart” in Los Angeles, California on February 8, 2015.

In this fast-paced and often chaotic world, a multitude of obligations and everyday stresses of life can lead to anxiety and burnt out, and with little time for a reality check. Demands of the job; stockbrokers frantically buying and selling stocks on Wall Street; families struggling to make ends meet – under these conditions, our health, relationships and finances can cripple the chances for happiness. Being effective and staying on top of the game makes the simplest of tasks difficult. People must then regain focus and reclaim their power.

In response to this critical state of affairs, the United Nations adopted a resolution declaring June 21st the ‘International Day of Yoga,’ after India’s newly-elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi used some of his valuable minutes during his address to the U.N. General Assembly to introduce it. An unprecedented 175 countries signed on as co-sponsors, including the United States, China, France, the United Kingdom and Russia. The ‘International Day of Yoga’ acknowledges that “yoga provides a holistic approach to health and well-being.”

For those who know they have more to give but struggle because of the demands on the Grid, Sister Jenna offers a groundbreaking new CD entitled, “Off the Grid, Into the Heart.” This is a guided meditation for people on the move – CEOs, Stockbrokers, Executives, even mothers on the move. It can be done anywhere – at work, in the car, while having lunch or at the gym. “Off the Grid, Into the Heart” gently encourages moving thoughts to a higher level, even while performing everyday tasks. The focus then moves to meaningful agendas allowing empathy, care and more creativity to melt away anxiety and the stresses that build up from everyday life.

For over 20 years, Sister Jenna has spearheaded numerous projects, writings, lectures, retreats, and conversations around how to cultivate a practice of stillness while being in the midst of chaos. She understands the path to burnout and encourages the practice of “getting off the grid and into the heart.” Sister Jenna believes that coming from a place of the heart fosters intentions and authentic expressions that not only serve the individual, but also the world. Sister Jenna hosts the amazing American Meditating Radio program, and I was blessed to have been interviewed by Sister Jenna about my work here at 42Yogis.
