Sun salutations are used to greet the morning sun and honor it as it rises. We thank the sun for all its bountiful blessings that it brings to this earth and we harness its energy with an invigorating and simple sequence. In this yoga class, I go through Surya Namaskar A and then Surya Namaskar B to help awaken the body and greet the day. I love this simple sequence because it brings energy and fire to my entire body and clarity to my mind, making it the perfect flow to do just before meditation. It’s also an energizing way to start the day! Give it a try and let me know in the comments how you feel after completing Sun Salutations A & B.
